PAVA targets Mikhailovsky mill renovation

December 09 2009

Russian major flour manufacturer PAVA envisages refinement of the production process at the Mikhailovsky milling branch. The company said it would implement a changeover from the classic technology to advanced methods, aiming to boost product output.

Currently, technologists are engaged in pre-planning of additional equipment installations which forms the groundwork of the project. Changes will mainly be introduced to the debranning section, and greatly improve the end-product appearance and quality. It is expected that the new initiative will help achieve impeccable level of whiteness and considerably lowered ash content.

“Plant rationalization enables us to retain high product quality meanwhile it definitely solves the efficiency issue. Increasing flour yields up to 85-90% is conducive to further business growth”, says Andrey Ananin, PAVA Managing Director.

Mikhailovsky mill, the target renovation area located in the Altay Territory, produces wide range of flour grades, including the recent innovation “Zhitnitsa”, that enjoy continued popularity in Russia and abroad.
