SAUDI ARABIA: FEILER EXPECTS INCREASED ACTIVITY BY INVESTMENT FUNDS

In a recent lecture to investors who are interested in the Saudi stock market, Dr. Gil Feiler, a renowned Middle East expert, conveyed the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) capitalization amounts to almost US$500 billion. He also mentioned that last month, Tadawul\'s activity was in line of the global trends and lost some 14% of its value. Dr. Feiler indicated that today the main tool for investors in the Saudi market is via banks. However, he predicted that in the years to come the use of investment funds and the internet will grow on the part of the investors. This will be on the expanse of the banks, the expert noted.
